A mineral sunscreen is on the AuraAnn roadmap. In the United States sunscreen is a regulated drug, so this page describes the path, not a product. Join the waitlist.
Waitlist
No price, no preorder, no launch date. This product cannot be purchased yet.
These are goals for the finished formula, not results. Each will be checked in testing before it becomes a statement about the product.
Any product that claims to protect from the sun is regulated by the FDA as an over-the-counter drug. That means an approved active ingredient, SPF testing on people, broad-spectrum testing, water-resistance testing if claimed, a Drug Facts label, and manufacturing controls. None of that exists yet for this product, so this page makes no protection claim of any kind.
Zinc oxide is a recognized sunscreen active. Zinc gluconate, the form in AuraAnn's cream, is not. A product does not become a sunscreen because it contains zinc, and the zinc, copper, and magnesium trio has nothing to do with SPF. If AuraAnn launches a sunscreen, its protection will come from a separately chosen, tested active, and the label will say exactly which one and how much.
The Mineral Library explains what research has and has not shown for zinc, copper, and magnesium in each product format, including this one. Nothing there is evidence about a product that does not exist yet.
We do not publish dates until a formula is final, tested, and labeled. The waitlist is how you hear first.

It will use the same mineral forms in a base designed for its format. Every product is formulated and tested on its own, and nothing shown for the cream is carried over as a claim.
